I’m not sure how I forgot to mention Hard as Hoof in my “Tips for Great Nails” post, but I’ve been using this since February and I’ve already gone through two jars! This stuff is really amazing for problem nails, as you can see in my picture, my tips have no peels or breaks, they’re very thick! (Sorry the flash turned my skin pink, not very attractive!) All you need to do is massage a small amount into your nail bed and your cuticles as often as you’d like. It also works over your nail polish!!
Unfortunately I have a little yellowing on my nail beds from wearing nail polish every day but I think they look pretty good for working somewhere that I wash my hands multiple times a day! If you are having trouble growing out your nails you NEED to get this stuff! Unfortunately I think it’s only sold at Walmart but you can always look online

I just ordered one that’s by a different brand at Sally’s I’m going to test it out
but I still have problems with my thin nails, what are some other products that will help my nails grow strong and long 
I had my longest nail break the other day. 
Whenever I feel like my nails are extra weak and thin I use the Sally Hansen Hard as Wraps. It gives a really strong protection. If the stuff you got from Sally’s is similar to the hard as hoof it will help your nails get thicker
Also you could take biotin everyday for healthier nails, you can get it wherever you get vitamins!

Got the hard as hoof, but I tried looking for Sally Hansen Hard as Wrap, but there outta stock (even online) so I tried the Sally Hansen hard as nails, it’s a nice gel but it peels and chips off quick with one coat, so it’s like I have to put it on everyday, is it my nails that are making this product peel or is it the product? My sister used it and it peeled… :/ sad I couldnt find hard as wrap :/
I think it’s the product, I find that happening sometimes but since I change my nails usually every day I don’t mind it. You should try using a base coat, then a layer of the hard as nails, and then your polish to see if it will grip to the base coat better for a longer lasting manicure

Kaitlin what do you suggest for nails that are recooperating from acrylic removal? The nail bed is still bumpy and nails are still brittle and very slow in growing back. Also, around my nails its very dry and I get a lot of little pieces of skin that pop out and I end up pulling it off and of course I end up with a bloody soar finger nail… it’s like from the cuticle or sometimes the sides. What can I do to prevent that?
Hi Yvette, I’ve been using a Revlon product called Post Trauma Treatment for nails which I think is made specifically for nails recovering from acrylics. Even though I’ve never had acrylics before I’ve found that it really helps protect against peels and breakage it would definitely be worth a try for your nails! and for the skin around your nails make sure to be applying hand lotion multiple times a day, you shouldn’t try and cut or pull away the skin, allow it to heal and then keep your hands moisturized to prevent any more damage

I also wrote down all the products you use on your Nail Care section and included “Hard and Hoof” and Nutra Nail Mineral Collection “Iron Strength”. My nails are real bad since I took off the acrylics and taking forever to get back to normal. I’ve been mentioning you to my sister-in-law and friends. Your work is AMAZING!!
